Recently I have been able to live in a space of dreams! I always thought about sharing my story in a book. I thought that “someday” I would write a book. Last October the urgency of me getting things done weighed on my mind. I didn’t know how it was going to all come together but I just had to be open to whatever came into my influence.

I had mentioned to my kid’s step mom that I was interested in writing a book. She went to a a blogging conference and she came home with a book that outlined step by step how to write a book. I still didn’t’ know how it would come together. I started waking up earlier and spending more time writing in the morning. Before I new it the text of the book was complete. Then I learned about formatting, editing, covers, back matter, front matter, and launch teams. It all seemed overwhelming.

Each step was cleared – there were so many confirmations that I was suppose to share my message of hope. Now that I stand on this side of this dream, I realized I have learned a valuable truth. Believing in my dreams, and living my life to make my dreams happen, are two different things. There have been so many steps, I have battled imposter syndrome, doubts of my limitations, and tears of frustration. Each rejection, and each step has been terrifying, exciting, and empowering. Isn’t that what dreams are about?

My message tonight – LIVE YOUR DREAMS! Trust the process – Dreams can come true!

  1. Thank you for being brave enough to share your story with the world. I don’t know that I am that brave. I am excited to buy it and read/write all over it. Do you talk about things like “imposter syndrome” in your book? I would love to learn more about that. Thank you again, I admire your strength.
